EB-3 (Other Worker VISA) is a type of employment-based immigration visa in the United States.

It is designed for foreign nationals who are skilled workers, professionals, or unskilled workers in non-agricultural industries. This visa requires an employer to sponsor the applicant and go through a labor certification process to ensure that there are no qualified U.S. workers available for the position. The EB-3 Other Worker category has a limited number of visas available each year, and the wait time can vary depending on the country of origin.


To sponsor an applicant for an EB-3 visa, the employer must be a U.S. employer who is willing to hire foreign workers on a permanent, full-time basis. The employer must also demonstrate that there are no qualified U.S. workers available to fill the position and must go through a labor certification process to prove that the job requirements and working conditions will not adversely affect the wages and working conditions of similarly employed U.S. workers. The employer must also meet various other requirements, such as complying with all applicable labor and immigration laws and regulations. It's important to note that the employer, not the employee, is the sponsor of the EB-3 visa.
